This is

What Is a Wellness Visit?
A Wellness Visit is a single, guidance-based session with a licensed OT, PT, or SLP who specializes in your child’s need.
Each visit includes:
- A brief developmental snapshot
- Clear explanation of what’s typical and what’s a variation of normal
- Easy, practical strategies you can start using today
- A personalized plan for your child and your family
- Next-step guidance only if needed
No evaluation or diagnosis is needed; however, should an evaluation be completed and not medically necessary to receive therapy, we can still do a wellness visit.

What is a PPT4VIP Wellness Visit?
A wellness visit is a guidance-based session with a licensed pediatric therapy expert, designed to answer your everyday developmental questions and give you practical strategies for routines like play, feeding, movement, and emotions. It's built for the “gray zone” moments when you're not sure if something is a delay or just a normal part of growing up.
How is a wellness visit different from a formal therapy evaluation?
Wellness visits don't require a doctor's referral, a diagnosis, or a formal evaluation. A pediatric therapist reviews what's going on, explains what's typical versus a normal variation, and gives you strategies you can use right away. If something does need a closer look, your therapist will let you know and point you toward next steps.
How do I know which wellness program is right for my child?
Each program focuses on a specific area of development: play, feeding, social-emotional skills, bilingual language, sensory and movement patterns, gross motor skills, handwriting, infant milestones, premature birth follow-up, or reading. If you're not sure which one fits, reach out and the team can help match you with the right visit based on what you're noticing at home.
Are wellness visits covered by insurance?
No, wellness visits are private-pay programs and are not billed through insurance. That's part of what allows sessions to be scheduled quickly, without waitlists, referrals, or prior authorizations.
Where are wellness visits offered?
Visits are available in person at the Boca Raton, Lake Worth, and West Palm Beach locations, as well as through teletherapy for families who prefer to meet virtually.
Do I need a referral to schedule a wellness visit?
No referral is needed. Wellness visits are designed to be an easy first step — families can schedule directly whenever they have a question or concern.
Ready to Get Started?
Wellness Visits are open to all families — no referral needed.
